On January 30^th 2023, the Marin County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the victim of a sexual assault that occurred in San Quentin Village, CA. After a complete a thorough investigation, Detectives were able to determine probable cause existed to make an arrest.

On February 9, 2023 at 0900, Detectives arrested Orlando Ponce, a 43 year old male, from San Quentin, CA for the following crime:

289(D) – Forcible penetration on an unconscious person

Ponce was booked into the Marin County Jail with a bail of $100,000.
