A deputy conducted a traffic stop of a stolen vehicle. The driver refused to comply with the deputy's commands and became combative. A CEW was discharged by another deputy. The CEW had the desired effect and the driver was arrested for the listed charges. The driver did not suffer any lasting injuries from the CEW deployment.

Deputies responded to a report of a large crowd of 50 subjects fighting in Marin City. A deputy displayed a CEW towards an angry crowd to gain compliance with lawful orders and to prevent any further assaults in the area. The crowd immediately dispersed. No use of force was necessary to restore peace in the area.

A Deputy displayed a CEW at an uncooperative driver of a vehicle during a traffic stop. The driver refused to follow commands and made furtive movements with his hands. The display of the CEW gained compliance. The driver was arrested for numerous drug violations.

Two deputies made contact with a subject wanted for outstanding Marin County warrants. The subject fled on foot. After a foot pursuit, the subject physically resisted the deputies. A deputy displayed a CEW and the subject stopped resisting, complied with orders and was arrested.
