On July 11, 2017, with the assistance of the Marin County Probation Department and State Parole, Marin County Sheriff’s Detectives conducted unannounced compliance checks on several high-risk registered sex offenders throughout Marin County.  All were found to be in compliance and living within the terms of their sentence.  There are currently 38 registered sex offenders living in the unincorporated areas of Marin County.
