Kentfield Stabbing Update - Seeking the Public’s Assistance Locating Suspect

The suspect in this case has been identified as Brian Jordan, a 37 year old white male from Corte Madera, CA. Jordan is described as being 6'03" and 230 lbs with brown hair and blue eyes. Our efforts to locate Jordan have been unsuccessful and Jordan is not in custody at this time.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Jordan or who has information that may lead to his arrest is asked to contact the Marin County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Division at (415) 473-7265 or our 24hr Dispatch at (415)479-2311. If you see Jordan in public, please call 911 and DO NOT APPROACH him. 

Prior Release Information:
On July 19th, 2022 just before midnight, Deputies were dispatched to a reported stabbing in the 200 block of McAllister Avenue in Kentfield. Deputies arrived on scene a short time later and located a male suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
 
The investigation has revealed the following: The victim went to leave a residence in the area and saw a person stealing items out of his vehicle. The suspect ran on foot and the victim gave chase. The victim called a friend and asked for help finding the suspect and did not immediately call 9-1-1. The victim and his friend located the suspect in the area. A fight ensued resulting in the victim being stabbed multiple times. The friend of the victim called 911 after the suspect ran away on foot.

This remains an active investigation. The Marin County Sheriff’s Office would encourage those who witness a crime to call 911 immediately. Our Deputies work around the clock in all areas of the County of Marin and are readily available to assist when emergencies occur.
