MCSO Graduates 6 from the Basic Police Academy

The Marin County Sheriff's Office had six deputies graduate from the Santa Rosa Basic Police Academy.  The new additions to the MCSO family are; Tyler Riksen, Taj Schieve, Kyle Jordan, Rafael Meza, Donya Halawa and Heather White.  It was a special day for Donya Halawa and Tyler Riksen as Sheriff Doyle sworn them in as deputy sheriffs prior the graduation ceremony.  Also, Tyler was awarded with the honor of being the number one overall recruit from Class #191.  Deputy Michael Thompson was voted by Class #191, as being the best instructor at the academy and was awarded with a special certificate.
