Every October, the Marin Evening Rotary holds a recognition dinner and presents the “Service Above Self” award to the Marin County Sheriff’s Office and the Marin County Fire Department.  The “Service Above Self” award recognizes an individual that has demonstrated that they have impacted others through their service.  The 2016-17 “Service Above Self” award was presented to Sgt. Nina Snyder for her outstanding work with a recent retiree.  Sgt. Snyder was instrumental in impacting the life of a recent retiree by making a difference for that person.  Thank you Sgt. Snyder for demonstrating; Partnership, Leadership, Excellence and congratulations on receiving the "Service Above Self" award.
