Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested
On December 3rd, 2024, Marin County Sheriff’s Office Detectives arrested Arcturus Wiggins (48 yr old male, Sausalito/Brentwood), for Armed Robbery and firearms related charges. In Mid-October 2024, a subject armed with a silver revolver entered the Shoreline Highway 7-11 and held the clerk at gunpoint, stealing more than $500 prior to fleeing the area. Detectives were eventually able to identify Wiggins.
During the ongoing attempt to locate Wiggins, it was discovered that he was additionally involved in an attempt armed robbery on December 1st 2024 at the Redwood Highway Frontage 7-11 location. Again, Wiggins was armed with a silver revolver and was wearing similar, distinctive clothing as the first robbery.
On December 3rd, Deputies in Southern Marin worked closely with MCSO Detectives to locate Wiggins inside the Marin City Starbucks location. After units were able to position themselves around the shopping center, Wiggins was safely detained and arrested for his involvement in the robbery/attempted robbery. At the time of his arrest, Wiggins was in possession of a silver revolver, matching the description of the firearm used in the commission of the crimes.
Wiggins was booked in to the Marin County Jail for the following charges: 211 PC Robbery, 664/211 PC Attempted Robbery, 29800(b) PC Felon in Possession of a Firearm, 30305(a)(1) PC Prohibited Person in Possession of Ammunition, 25400(A) PC Possession of a Loaded Firearm in a Vehicle. Wiggins bail amount was set at $75,000.
