On May 30, 2017 two suspects robbed a woman of her purse in Greenbrae in front of a residence while she was visiting relatives. The Marin County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Unit was able to develop a suspect, which led to a positive identification by the victim and witnesses in this case. An arrest warrant for robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and identity theft was obtained.
On July 1, 2017 with the assistance of the Oakland Police Department, one of the suspects, Jahi Arnold, was located and arrested. Arnold is a 20 year old male from Alameda County. Arnold was booked into the Alameda County jail for the following charges.
211 P.C. – Robbery
245 P.C. – Assault with a deadly weapon
496 P.C. – Possession of stolen property
And other identity theft related charges.
