In-Home caretaker arrested for a multitude of crimes.

Arrested: Brandy Bernice Bullard, 41 year old, Stockton, CA.

In October 2020, residents of unincorporated Mill Valley reported that an in-home caretaker was believed to have stolen in excess of $500,000 worth of valuables during the course of her employment. The victims recently learned of the theft and provided the Sheriff’s Office with evidence of the suspect attempting to break in to a safe in the victim’s home.

Throughout the course of the investigation, Marin County Sheriff’s Office Detectives and the Mendocino County Major Crimes Task Force executed multiple search warrants at the home of Brandy Bullard in Stockton, CA. The search of Bullard’s residence yielded two unregistered and loaded firearms, both of which were hidden in children’s bedrooms. A large quantity of identity theft documents, fraudulent EDD debit cards and forged checks were also recovered. This investigation is now being worked on, in part by Employment Development Department (EDD) Investigators, Stockton Police Department and the Marin County Sheriff’s Office.

On October 22, 2020 Bullard was booked into the Marin County Jail on the following charges and is currently being held on $500,000 bail.
