Mill Valley Traffic Collision Fatality- Identity Released

The decedent has been positively identified as:                                           

Robert Charles BRASCH, an 80-year-old male from Mill Valley, CA.

On Monday February 10, 2025, at approximately 2:33 PM a motor vehicle collision involving three vehicles was reported to 9-1-1 having occurred near the intersection of Miller Avenue and Camino Alto, Mill Valley. Preliminary investigation completed to date suggests a vehicle, which was being operated by the subject, possibly sustained a spontaneous medical event immediately prior to losing control of his vehicle, resulting in colliding with multiple vehicles. The subject was discovered unconscious, unresponsive in cardiac arrest inside his vehicle.  First Responders, who arrived at the scene, removed the restrained subject from his vehicle and provided emergent resuscitative medical assistance. Despite efforts provided the subject did not respond to treatment and his death was pronounced at the scene.

Robert Charles BRASCH, an 80-year-old male from Mill Valley, CA.

A forensic postmortem examination with routine toxicology testing is being completed today. The cause and manner of death will be pending the conclusion of the investigations being completed by the Mill Valley Police Department and the Marin County Sheriff’s Office - Coroner Division. No further information will be released by the Coroner Division at this time, as this is an active and ongoing investigation. Any further questions regarding the incident should be directed to the Mill Valley Police Department.
