On August 10th 2022, Detectives from the Marin County Sheriff’s Office Specialized Investigative Unit (SIU), assisted by the Coordination of Probation Enforcement Unit (COPE), completed an investigation into John William Gobbin of San Rafael. 

The locations searched in association with the search warrant yielded over 1lb of methamphetamine packaged for sales, replica firearms without orange colored tips, drug paraphernalia, narcotics packaging, multiple digital scales, and US currency. 

Gobbin was arrested for the possession of a controlled substance for sale in San Rafael and booked into the Marin County Jail where he is being held on $50,000 bail.
