New Arrest Made in Novato Homicide Case

On Wednesday November 9th, 2016 with assistance from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in Maryland, the Marin County Sheriff’s Office arrested Edenilson Misael Alfaro on an arrest warrant for his involvement in the May 25, 2016 homicide and attempted homicide of two Novato teenagers.  Alfaro is a 22 year male who was residing in San Mateo at the time of the homicide and also has ties to Los Angeles, New York and Maryland. 

Alfaro is believed to be one of the leading shot-callers for the MS-13 gang.  Alfaro remained in custody in Maryland at this time while detectives arrived in Maryland to interview him.
