04/02/2021 – Mission Type: Assist MCSO SRT with the Service of a High Risk Search Warrant

The Marin County Special response Team requested assistance with serving a High Risk Search Warrant. The sUAS Team responded and conducted 15 flights during the operation.
04/30/21 – Mission Type: Assist Novato PD with a Search for a Suicidal Subject with a Firearm.

Offense: N/A
The sUAS Team was requested to assist the Novato Police Department search for a suicidal subject with a firearm. The sUAS Team responded and was preparing to deploy when the subject was located by ground personnel searching the area as well. The sUAS Team flew one post-incident flight to document the scene.
05/05/21 – Mission Type: Assist San Rafael Police Department with an Evidence Search Associated with a Search Warrant.

The San Rafael Police Department requested the assistance of the sUAS Team to assist with documenting an open space area prior to an evidence search. The sUAS Team responded and flew one flight over the area to document the scene.
05/18/21 – Mission Type: Assist San Rafael Police Department with Documenting the Scene of a Vehicle Collision.

The San Rafael Police Department requested the assistance of the sUAS Team to assist with documenting a vehicle collision in their jurisdiction. The sUAS Team responded and flew one flight over the area to document the scene.
06/01/21 – Mission Type: Assist Southern Marin Fire with the Search for an Object (Possibly a Body) Floating in the Water.

Marin County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Southern Marin Fire were dispatched to a report of a possible body floating in the water near the Richardson Bay Bridge. The sUAS Team responded and conducted two flights to search the area. The only items located during the search were some floating debris.
06/07/21 – Mission Type: Assist San Francisco Police Department with a Search for a Missing Subject.

The San Francisco Police Department requested the assistance of the sUAS Team to assist with searching Chrissy Field for an at-risk missing subject who had been missing for more than a week. The sUAS Team responded and flew six flights over the area with negative results.
06/14/21 – Mission Type: Assist Mill Valley Police Department with a Search for a Missing Subject.

The Mill Valley Police Department requested the assistance of the sUAS Team to assist with a search for a missing subject. The sUAS Team responded and flew one flight over the search area. The missing subject was located by a resident during this flight.
06/17/21 – Mission Type: Assist Tiburon Police Department with a Search for Two Residential Burglary Suspects.

The Tiburon Police Department requested the assistance of the sUAS Team to assist with an area search for two residential burglary suspects. The sUAS Team responded and flew two flights over the surrounding area with negative results.
06/23/21 – Mission Type: Assist Marin County Sheriff’s Office with a Search for an Unlawful Marijuana Cultivation Site.

The Marin County Sheriff’s Office requested the assistance of the sUAS Team to assist with a search for an unlawful marijuana cultivation site on private property. Signs of a possible marijuana grow site were observed and MCSO deputies were directed to the area. The sUAS Team responded and flew four flights over the area to assist ground personnel locate the possible illegal grow site. Evidence of a past grow site was located during the ground search.
