The suspect from yesterday’s incident in Mill Valley called today requesting to speak to someone about the incident.  A Detective called him back and learned that the suspect was in the City of Oakland, wanting to surrender. Detectives went to the Temescal neighborhood of Oakland and found the suspect who surrendered peacefully.  No weapon was found. 

Phillip Hosea Smith, Age 64, Mill Valley was brought back to Marin County where he was booked into the Jail for Criminal Threats, Brandishing a Firearm, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Felon in Possession of Ammunition and Vandalism.
