Two Arrested in Marin City Attempted Homicide

Arrested: 

  • Julian Nicholas Wilson, an 18 year old male from Larkspur, CA
  • Daeshawn Damarri Burr, a 22 year old male from Marin City, CA

On January 26th just before 2pm, Deputies were summoned to the 200 block of Drake Avenue in Marin City for a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, Deputies located the male victim unconscious and suffering from multiple stabs wounds. Deputies and members of the Marin City community provided life saving measures until the arrival of Marin County Fire and Southern Marin Fire Paramedics. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive. 

Over the next several days, Detectives performed interviews and neighborhood canvases in an effort to locate video surveillance and determine who was responsible for the stabbing. 

On February 3rd, after an extensive and thorough investigation, Detectives served a search warrant in Larkspur, CA and Marin City, CA leading to the arrest of Julian Wilson for Attempted Murder and Daeshawn Burr for destruction of evidence.

Wilson and Burr were booked into the Marin County Jail for the listed charges. Wilson is currently being held on $1,000,000 dollar bail and Burr was booked and released due to the zero bail structure.
